Implantable Contact Lens (also referred to as an Implantable Collamer Lens)

The implantable contact lens is a procedure where your surgeon places a thin man-made lens within your eye in order to correct your near-sightedness or astigmatism. This procedure is often used in an individual who may not be good candidate or does not qualify for Lasik or PRK.
The EVO ICL and the EVO Plus ICL are the latest versions of the VISIAN clear lens implant. This implant is inserted into your eye to reduce or eliminate your prescription. It is often used in patients who are 45 years old or younger who have very high near-sightedness. This procedure can correct your vision quickly similar to Lasik. Ask your doctor if the EVO ICL is right for you.
