Dr. Davis is proud to announce the start of Vision Events! This charity was started earlier this year by Dr. Davis and his brother as a way to give back to the community. One has a daughter with a retinal degenerative disease so this hits close to home. Both brothers have seen vision blinding diseases and have agonized over their devastating effects. Together they have participated in countless charitable sporting events over the years — cycling, running, and swimming. Vision Events was created to combine their passion for sports with a cause dear to their hearts!
Vision Events has partnered with the Utah Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness to hold two events each year, a 5k family run in the spring and a Century Bike Ride in the fall. Every dollar raised through event registration will be donated to The Foundation Fighting Blindness.
The 5k event was held on May 10th and over 30 people participated. “The turnout was great for our first year and we were proud to raise over $1,000 for the Utah Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.” Dr. Davis.
